MYAC Resources is partnering with a highly respected and established Perth-based accounting and business advisory firm to recruit an experienced Assistant Client Manager.

The Opportunity

As Assistant Client Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing technical compliance work, mentoring team members, and supporting the firm’s growth objectives.

You will work closely with the leadership team and be given the autonomy to build strong client partnerships while helping drive excellence across the practice.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients

•⁠ ⁠Review financial statements, tax returns, and compliance engagements

•⁠ ⁠Provide taxation, business advisory, and strategic guidance to clients

•⁠ ⁠Lead, mentor, and develop junior and intermediate accountants

•⁠ ⁠Manage workflow, deadlines, and client deliverables

•⁠ ⁠Build and maintain strong client relationships

•⁠ ⁠Identify opportunities to expand and grow existing client accounts

•⁠ ⁠Assist with business development and new client acquisition activities

•⁠ ⁠Contribute to the firm’s strategic growth and leadership initiatives

About You

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 10 years’ experience within Public Practice Accounting

•⁠ ⁠Strong experience managing client portfolios and advisory relationships

•⁠ ⁠Previous leadership, mentoring, or team management experience

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

•⁠ ⁠Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service

•⁠ ⁠Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge

•⁠ ⁠CPA or CA qualified (or nearing completion)

•⁠ ⁠Professional, confident, and solutions-focused
